Neil Bodley - Football Player

-My junior year went well. My coach moved me to QB since we didn't have a QB this year. I ran a "wild cat" QB. The offense was mostly run generated with very little passing. My team ended the year with a 6-4 record although we didn't make playoffs. I had 1,569 yds rushing, 24 rushing TD's with a 157 yd per game average and 2 Td's passing. I had an 8.97avg per carry. I continued to play LB on defense and had 60 solo tackles, 4 interceptions with one being returned for a TD, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 sacks. I also set a single season rushing record at Juniata. This all happened while still allowing the younger players a chance to get their time as well. Currently I have 2,532 career yds rushing. I was selected as a Tri Valley League all star on both offense and defense and also received the Ironman Award for The Tri-Valley League. Additionally, I was also an "Ironman" at Juniata. I was also selected to The Chesapeake Bowl Camp All-Underclassmen Team as a running back, a MR. PA Football nominee and made the PFN All-State Team -Athlete Offense Honorable Mention.

Sophomore year went pretty well. I ended the season with 872 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns and averaged 109 ypg and a 7.21 avg. In addition to being running back all season long I continued to play full time on the field on defense and all special teams. I ended the season with 3 interceptions, and 3 fumble recoveries and 33 solo tackles. I was selected all star on both offense and defense. I also received an Ironman at Juniata.

I was the only player in my class to be brought up to the varsity level during my freshman year in which I started on defense the whole season and special teams. I also played in most games as running back freshman year. I ended the season with 47 solo tackles, 6 fumble recoveries, 2 TD's, 2 sacks and 2 INT and 91 yds rushing.
