About Sydney Vaughn

Sydney is a 31-Year-Old Grad. at Springville Secondary School in Springville, Iowa. She is a multi-sport athlete who participates in Track & Field and Volleyball.

I attend Springville High School in Springville Iowa. I am a 3.9-4.0 student.
I love to run. I am a triple letter winner in Track, with over 140 medals in Varsity track & Field. I have been running since 7th grade, for the Springville track teams and as an unattached runner with USATF, AAU, and at the Iowa Games. I have medaled in several USATF, AAU and Iowa games events and in three events at the 2008 State Games Of America. I am a three time Drake Relays and State Track qualifier. I am also a member of three school record holding relay teams. I am also a member of the Oriole Volleyball squad and play defensive specialist or all-around. Running & Volleyball are my passion sports.
I have been a cheerleader for all of middle & high school. In addition to sports, I am a member of the Concert, Jazz and Marching bands, serving as Drum Major for e past 2 seasons. I am a National Honor Society member, and was awarded a full scholarship to attend CYLC leadership conference in Washington DC last year. I attended NYCL and won a Van Meter Leadership award this year. I am also the SPringville "Wendy's High School Heisman" winner. I served as class president for several years, and as a student senator the past two years. I am a top vocalist, with several division 1 solo ratings. I am also active in speech and drama, with division 1 ratings in solo music theatre, prose, one act play, and poetry. I sing in the church choir and am a member of the church bell choir. I am looking forward to an exciting college experience.
