Jorge is a 31-Year-Old Grad. at Lyford High School in Lyford, Texas. He is a multi-sport athlete who participates in Cross Country and Track & Field.

Hello, my name is Jorge(George) Torres. I am currently a junior at Lyford High School. I've been so far a varsity athlete for two sports,which include Cross Country and Track and Field. My freshman year I was out due to a persistent injury of my ankle, though I came sophomore year starving for a race and came out on fire. The district that we compete in is the 32-3A and it is a tough district missed the regional meet by one both my sophomore and junior year, yet that was only cross country. For Track and Field I have done many mid-distance events from the 400m-3200m plus the 1600m relay. Our relay team is the heart and soul of our track program so far we qualified for the meet of champs here in the Rio Grande Valley a event that everyone in this valley of every school that qualified participates in, its a big event. Were expected to make it on to the regional meet and to be number one in our district.
